We are one part settled and one part nomadic, but that hasn’t stopped us from traveling and meeting up all over the world. We created this blog to inspire you to travel deeper and more meaningfully through our shared passion for exploration, adventure, and cultural immersion. Behind our Sister Travel blog

How it all started

It was after a year living in France that Brittany invited Laurin to backpack together for one month around Europe—that experience traveling on €20 a day challenged us in more ways than one! It was our first time exploring together as grown up sisters. From visiting family in England and tripping down the steps in front of Le Louvre in Paris (lol) to hiking on a volcano in Santorini, Greece, we had quite a few (mis)adventures. We were hooked. We later backpacked Thailand, Cambodia, and Vietnam before taking trips together to Mexico, the Caribbean, Japan, and more!

We’ve been to so many places together, it’s hard to choose! Our core travel memories are backpacking Europe and Southeast Asia for one month each.

We are Delta and American Airlines, gals! (Laurin, Delta and Bri, AA!). We had a horrendous experience with Frontier Airlines coming back from Costa Rica and will never fly with them again.

We have been sister travel bloggers since 2022! Brittany has been blogging since 2015, and onboarded Laurin to start two travel blogs together.
